TubeTape.net??? I am looking at ordering a background stand... And this seem to be the lowest price I can find (in Canada).

I was looking at the DIY stuff thats on the net... But the cost is 1/2 to 3/4 of what a purpose made setup would cost me.

I want decent quality but I am on a very tight budget... I will buy used as well... as long as its in good condition.

If anyone knows of another alternative.... Please share.

I've never heard of Tube Tape, but the background stand looks like any of the other stands that you will see for the same price. It should do what you need it to do.

Yeah, that stand looks like every other budget stand I've looked at. Order from somewhere reputable.

For whatever reason, a lot of things are still much more expensive in Canada...even with the currency being close to par with the greenback for so long.

You should be able to find plenty of options at B&H or Adorama, and you'll just have to pay the shipping.
