is drybox highly required?

Hi i just got nikon d3100 and bought additional fix lens nikkor 50mm Ai f1.8 in order to keep all of these in good condition, do i need drybox and silicone gel?

What's a fix lens? Are you talking about a prime lens? No, you probably don't need a dry box or silica packets, unless you live underwater and journey to the surface regularly. Or you live in a rapidly changing climate.

I'm not sure what this has to do with lighting equipment, but will you be storing your camera somewhere that it might get wet? Traveling on a boat?

If you think your camera might get wet, it couldn't hurt...

It would help if you told us where you lived. If you live in a hot, humid climate and don't use aircon then a drybox would be helpful if you don't use your camera a lot. By the way, it's silica gel, not silicone gel. Two different things.
