Is it a good Underwater Camera?

Dont really know what else to compare it to, but for $40 how could you go wrong? I know the go-pros HEROs work under water. They take HD video & still. Costco has 'em for about $180.

I have my doubts that it would be "good". I guess it depends on what your standard is as far as pictures. It appears to be an older budget vivitar in a cheap underwater housing. Here is a review (from 2008) on that camera: Vivitar ViviCam 5399 digital camera review - Pocket-lint
