Is it just me or is Flickr really slow at uploading?

Is it just me or is flickr really slow when it comes to uploading, I have 3 pictures that have been taking 15 minutes.

all depends on your internet connection, and the load on their servers.

I personally never use their site as yes, it is to slow. I just ftp into my server to upload photos so much easier and quicker.

Pictured below is the Hewlett Packard EX475 server. Not sure if it's any good, but it was featured in the November 2007 issue of Pop Photo, page 79. You can buy one for right around 700USD/360BP/7300MXN/72,700JPY.

I use an external hard drive as my main backup method. But I do monthy uploads to my web server located in usa for all of my photos.

When ever I have a new photo ready, I either upload it to my gallery, or just ftp it straight to my server for my personal collection.

I have a 3ghz dual core with 2gb ram and its on a 100mps dedicated uplink I also use this server for a few of my websites.
