Is it possible to fade some of the areas in this picture?

My guess is you're missing a step. The program doesn't somehow say, "Nah, it's not happening for this one!"

It won't let me do this one the way i want to.

It does fade just not the way I wish it to fade

Are you saving it as a TIFF or PNG? JPEG doesn't support transparency.

I know is PNG but the way I'm trying to fade the pic doesn't work, it worked fine on all the other pictures but this one cause if one side fade the other doesn't.

No want the whole bottom part faded but it doesn't do that
