What do you mean by 'fade'? Make lighter? Transparent? Merge another image into it?

Gimp and davince resolve but they don't do a good at it

Gimp 2.10 I believe

Gimp 2.6 launches with a small icon. 2.10 launches with images of mushrooms.

Yeah but with certain pictures is very hard to do the fading effect
