Is the cone distracting?

I actually love the exposure and low contrast. It looks like it was taken in the 60s (apart from the model of car, of course!)! Nor do I find the cone distracting. It gives a bit of context.

I thought it was disturbing. I think I also liked it better with a closer crop

The cone gives balance to the frame. Leave it. The exposure is fine, I don't actually see what people are complaining about there. Full range of tones present, texture in the shadows and the highlights. Looks like you nailed the exposure, to be honest. Nice sense of motion.

Not sure I love the image overall, but technically it's sound, the composition is ok-to-good, and the evocative power is borderline excellent. Not sure what else we can ask for..

For me, I could do without the cone. I find the exposer to be fine, and the pictures good. Makes me wonder, if you wouldn't have mentioned the cone, would I have even cared that it was there.

By the time you do a decent crop, the cone will be out of the picture.

So the driver hanging out of the car is not a distraction?

Not really, since it's a photo of a guy hanging out of a car!

Thank you guys for honest feedback. I know the picture isnt spectacular but its for a possible client and i was trying to make the best of it. As far as the "So the driver hanging out of the car is not a distraction?" I wanted ppl to pay attention to that "distraction" and not wonder off the image, that’s what i meant when i asked if the cone was in the way. Hope that makes sense. Thanks.
