Is there a lens adapter for Canon film lens to Canon DSLR body?

I have a SIGMA DL Hyperzoom 28-300 lens that I bought back in the early 2000s to attach to a Canon body that used DX film. I am wondering if someone makes a lens adapter so that it will work on my T3i. I had sent it back to SIGMA around 2004
for software/firmware upgrade when I bought a digital Rebel, but it didn't work, so I set it aside, and bought another lens. It, of course, doesn't work on the T3i body, either. I contacted Canon USA, and they don't make such an animal. I also looked through the adapters on KiwiFoto. I'm just checking to see if there is a solution.

If its a firmwire issue and Sigma couldn't fix it there's a good chance no one can. If Sigma simply ran out of parts/chips you might find a 3rd party repair shop could fix it (they oft buy up old repair stock for parts when a manufacturer ends official support). However if it simply never had a full firmwire update from Sigma it might never work fully; esp since its an old budget market zoom lens its simply not got the value for many to put into making a specific adaptor for it,

If it is an Canon FD mount, yes. Check Amazon and EBAY. If it is an EOS AF, and not working, you can try replacing the chip with a generic. You might have to manually focus, but would get focus confirm. If it is a mechanical problem, you are probably out of luck using the lens.
