issue with dwg files

Hello experts,


I have a dwg file that is corrupted or encrypted and I need to fix it.


Is there any tool I can use to check the integrity of the dwg files.

Is it a file you were working on or one that someone sent you. If yours, then there should be a bak file available and how recent depends on your autosave settings

Also look at what AutoDesk recommends if you haven't tried this already. I have used the Recover option in the past with good results:

  --Attached and nested xrefs are also opened, repaired, resaved, and closed
• INSERT and EXPLODE
• Start a new DWG with no template
  --Run INSERT and selected the corrupted drawing
  --Check the “Explode” option
