Thank you so much for sharing that bit of background. May I say you've done an amazing job with your photography, for someone who must have found hiking with equipment challenging at best? Wow - I'm very impressed!

These images are wonderful, as always. From what you told us, though, you will soon have a new favorite subject - and you won't have to leave the house! :heart:

Mathew, I am sorry to see you go, but I understand how things in life change, sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the better. All I can hope is that things are changing for the better for you and your developing family. I also hope that you will be able to find the time to continue your new-found photography activities and share them with us as time allows. I wish you nothing but good times as your new family grows. Your postings to close this part of your life are great and I look forward to seeing more in the future - you will be missed.

Dear Matt,

I've only been here for a week and I'm sure I missed a lot of your posts. Based on your send off I definitely missed a lot.

Good luck in all you do and keep on keeping on.

Once the youngin' can toddle and waddle make sure you take him/her down to the pond to feed the ducks and poke snapping turtles with sticks, you never know what you might inspire your children to do in their life.
