Hi All,

I was getting my yearly fix of Sunflower pics. But I hated the backgrounds so I created a mask of the actual flower:

I then started trying different backgrounds and I did not like any of them. So I thought lets do something different. I thoughts went to "what background will never go with a photo of a Sunflower?" so I generated a few AI backgrounds with chimneys:

I liked them and added a few Sunflowers and a bit of extra smoke:

Its a bit Monty Python but I like it.

What unexpected / unusual background would you use with the sunflower?

Feel free to have a go and post your results.

I like the concept. I think a series is needed. Some thoughts - underwater, floating in a pond like water lilies, as faces on famous portraits, tires on a 70’s VW van or race cars…

I like it, too! Not usually my style but it works.

@407370: Since you invited other members to have a play with this, I've moved the thread over to Photo Assignments/Challenges. :)

See this is why I love this forum. Working on the VW Van as we speak.
