I don't know why, but it is and you can't do anything about it.

Really, I was photographing a polo player and his equipment today for the sports page and this was a test shot. When I looked at it it looked pretty good, so I kept it. Hope you guys like it.

And what, pray tell, is the matter with a horse? Eh? ;)

I live on a ranch and therefore take many pictures of horses. I'm not fond of this shot, to be honest. It's at an awkward angle, which sometimes can add a neat feeling to a picture, but here it's awkward and nothing more, IMO. I personally would have zoomed in closer on the horse's head/neck and taken a sepia shot while crouched closer to the ground, stepped a little more back towards his shoulder, or some such thing. It just really doesn't do anything for me at all.

Sorry, but I'm not a fan of this one. =\

It's quite alright you don't like it. Like I said, I was there to shoot a polo player and I needed a test shot for light. Didn't plan the photo at all. Just looked up and took a shot and I liked the way it looked. It's not really meant to do anything for anyone. Just a picture of a horse...dangit.
