We have two in my Biology class at school and corn snakes and milk snakes and all kinds of stuff.

When we feed the Royal Pythons they yawn after and they sit up to let gravity pull the meal down. It is pretty neat I wish I could get one but my mom would never let me.

I like the second one better with just the face in focus and the blood. They are really nice did she just shed? She looks pretty bright.

And just tell your mum they are great pets. Only eat once a week or a bit less, not alot of food means not alot of poo, no hair flying around the house(well not from the snake, but from the food...) and then the fact that they look awesome
And she didnt shed before that pic. I think she is getting ready to shed soon, but no blue eyes yet. I'll just wait and see
