Come to the UK, houses here sell for thousands and they sell rather quickly infact...

Round her you're talking around £125k-£150k starting price for something not so special. Just three bedrroms, small garden. That's why there are so many people living at home. There are hardly any houses and the ones that do come up are too much for a new family.
I think it's because we're close to London.

In Toulouse you'd have to pay around 90 000Euros just for a really crap studio. No such thing as houses as such here. It's all appartments. Well you can get houses but they're tiny and crammed together and horrendously expensive. A 2 Bedroom appartment here would cost around 140 000 to 180 000 euros I think, maybe a bit less.

Don't even think about buying an appartment in Paris. It's as crazy there as it is in London wrt to housing problems. Sydney's apparently getting the same aswell from memory.
