I looked at this lens a few years back and wound up buying a Sigma 15 2.8 off epay for $75.00. The Russian lens is a manual focus lens (as is the Sigma) so it should not be too hard to beat the price on a used piece without the 2-4 week shipping wait. As often as a fishy is typically used, buying a used lens made sense to me. For the record, the Sigma is a little soft outside the center but it's really only noticeable in full frame. In DX format it looks OK. Compared side by side to the Nikkor 14mm f/2.8 it is noticeably softer. I say this because in DX the field of view is similar on both lenses, and the fisheye curvature is not as noticeable as it is in FX format.
