It's that time of year for deep blue skies

Or at least it is here in Northern California.

My editor-in-chief asked me to go out to our drained lake to get some general shots to fill some pages on a slow news day. Beautiful blue, windy day out here. All that is missing are big, puffy cumulus clouds.

Anyone else have some nice skies today?

thats some nice blues, we had snowfall today and the sun came out at the last min before going down. it was a shame for the -25c weather or i would have went out and took some pictures, i guess i wasn't feeling the cold much

Beautiful photo Hooligan Dan! I absolutely Love Blue skies in photos.
Up here in Washington State, when we have Good Weather we pretty much always have Beautiful Blue Skies.

a clear -20C day and a nice Boeing 767.

white of bird well contrasts the sky blue; however the shadow on the wings is not that pleasing
