I'm not certain how I did this Only thing I can figure is my hand must've been partially blocking the flash.

Our youngest cat, Jasper, has lately taken an interest in my wife's iPad. Saw him "browsing" on it, so I went and grabbed the camera.

I didn't realize it still had the 100-300mm, non-image-stabilizing, telephoto lens mounted from playing with outdoor shots earlier in the day. Also, looking at shutter speed and f-stop I quickly realized that without the flash I'd probably end-up with unusably blurry photos.

Ended-up with some nice, if more-or-less pedestrian cat photos, and this:
