over processed HDR

The first is a throw away, and the rest look like wallpapers

what exactly were you trying to accomplish with the first one? just does not seem to need HDR processing. and tone down the other ones. the second and third look like you were shooting without a tripod.

Number 3 would be nicer if you walked slightly to the front.

Thank you all for your constructive feedback. as for the first not needing HDR processing - technically i suppose (it was a clear day, plenty of sun and contrast) you're right. I feel like the only HDR photos I ever see are architechture, cars, and some landscapes - so I decided to try something different. I have a couple other shots of that fluke, and I feel like he is so real looking I could pick him up out of the photo:

Of course that could just be my taste. It's true that they're a little overbaked. I am trying to work on processing them more realistically - I seem to have a heavy hand.

I like the third in the first group buy maybe a step forward. As for the fish it has a halo around it that looks like a bad mask. The composition just isn't that interesting either but it would look good in a fry pan with some lemon and butter.
