I had sold all my studio lighting equipment(way too heavy to carry) and kept only a speedlight for just in case but never used it, yesterday I bought a cheap folding 60x60cm softbox for the speedlight , this is the 1st test using it, on my friend John.

Nicely done; clearly shows what good work can come from simple kit.

Great shot. My only slight niggle are the glasses hanging around his neck which are a tad distracting. Good work though!

Also, after a second look I think a tighter crop may work better.
