Joining the attemps at shooting the moon

well it seems as though everyone has been taking advantange of the clear skies lately, and shooting the moon.. thought I'd give it a go tonight..

Heres my try...

SS - 1/250
Ap - F8
ISO - 200

Hey thats nice. Did you manual focus? It looks a little soft. Much better than my first attempts though. What lens did you use?

nope used auto focus... used the 70-300 lens zoomed to around 250 i believe

One more thing, did you spot meter or use another setting? I am not sure what the best metering would be when shooting the moon.
