First time trying at capturing the milky way. I think next one I may need to take it at 20s because some stars start to move. .

On post processing, this is my 11th attempt at getting the night time color, clean up the color pollution at bottom right. Hopefully the forground is not too overwhelming.

A few issues I see here. First, your white balance is too far toward the magenta (purple) side. Also, where you tried to bring out the Milky Way, is pretty aggressive. Not sure if you used a curves adjustment layer, or used an adjustment brush in Lightroom, but it is super obvious looking. The whole thing is just very contrasty, and looks over processed. Please keep at it though! I'm being blunt, not trying to hurt your feelings, just being honest.
