Hello all

Question is, how come the jpgs I export from Photoshop look heavily compressed in "Preview" the Mac program that pretty much all mac users use to view a quick image? I export the JPG as Baseline Standard at the 12 setting which is highest quality. Whats the best way to export an image for minimal "viewable" compression and still keeping it websafe and user friendly?

Thanks in advance..

I think you have two questions. I can't answer about preview, because mine don't do that. I just export at default 100 through lightroom, when I save in CS4, I save at 12. It still looks fine.

I've never noticed that, but then again I only use "Preview" to view images that I've reduced to post here.

Can you post a screenshot displaying exactly the problem you're having.
