Just a couple from today

Lead removed with the clone heal tool because no photo is worth spending the next 3 hours (or however long) chasing a loose husky over the fields and hills.

Both taken at ISO 5000 which my 7D doesn't like all that much - gosh I want one of those fancy new sensors and a 7D MIII - come on Canon make one! Please!

Tired - yeah I had to mess a bit with Neat Image, but I got it looking far better than it was. I think the only way to go another level up is to properly mask off the detail areas and the blur areas; though in my experience for a simple web posting and resize that's often overkill

Square - yeah I've left leads in before, though sometimes I like to get them out of the shot if it looks like it won't be missed. Especially since we can't let him off the lead so its good to get some shots where he appears more free

our small older dog won’t leave my side so I could take his leash off anywhere but I usually don’t - it makes him nervous if he’s not wearing it when we’re outside. Our almost one year old puppy can’t be trusted at all. She will go off after anything that moves including leaves, cars, birds... still training her.
