Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
My site is zoopictures.net (clicky)
I need to switch to a better site design, but I want something that is uber-simple to do and available on a Mac. I need to be able to add pages without a bunch coding (my hobby is photography, not website design). The current software lets me do that, but it creates slow loading pages and the links at the top are a nightmare. The software I use now is (iWeb) template driven and can't be changed much.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated on the software part of it, I really like the look of some of your websites.

Suggestions. Okay... I have 2 photo sites.

http://photoblog.jeroencoert.nl that is a pixelpost photoblog. You can download it here: http://www.pixelpost.org/
it is quite easy to install and to tweak, there are quite some templates to download for it. Once you have it running it has a simple interface for uploading photos.

My other site: http://www.galerietje.com
That is a Coppermine Gallery. Coppermine is a bit harder to install and it comes with a lot of extra's that gave me a hard time to get rid of. I like my sites plain and simple aswell.
Coppermine has the advantage that you can make sepparate galleries. And galleries in galleries etc. etc. Lots of extra's but that also means lot of settings to adjust.
Coppermine can be downloaded for free overhere: http://coppermine-gallery.net/

Both are free for use, but they also both need webspace where you can create a database and use PHP.

And a quick google search showed me this one:
http://jalbum.net/
It looks free and pretty decent...

Good luck.
Cheers, Jeroen

Take a look here: http://photo.tataencu.org

That is my site and i am using Wordpress 2.2, with just a little script copied in the root folder for the lightbox effect. Just that. And posting your images is as easy as sending an e-mail (because Wordpress accepts posting through e-mails) or posting on a forum (since the built-in editor is a lot alike the editor for the posts here on TPF).

Cheers and i hope it helps. George.

Thank you both for your replies... I am looking at your information. I appreciate it.
