with an optic buddy of mine on a new camera. Barely got the camera 3 days ago and no time to seriously give it a whirl with Thanksgiving and just being home with family. I did get a few "snapshots" though...
Ok... typical oh hum shots of my son playing with is new toys in our rather dark living room.

Before 4 year old.....

Post 4 year old destruction...
(note.. my camera isn't capable of relocating focus point. With technique and practice, "focus and recompose" is a viable method. For those that remember a particular recent thread on such a topic)

Just another shot in slightly brighter light.... and stopped down a little for a little more sharpness. Tigger cup is mine and Mrs. Piggy is my wife's. lol

eh.. throwing another snapshot in just because... online viewing doesn't do it justice. It is a test shot I took at my dealer with the new camera and a borrowed lens. This is the sharpest 50mm I have EVER had in my hands. I literally had thoughts of a quick sell of my car just to fund it. Its also out of reach cost wise (at least for now lol ). It is also a very difficult lens to find in stock.. which added to the idea that it won't be there when/if I ever have the cash for it. Can we say G.A.S!
