Just getting started and want some opinions

hey i am just truly getting started shooting and wanted just a few thoughts on some of these images. what can i do to make these shots better?

The flowers are pretty good. Try to do it when there is a bee on it .

Just to mess around try to shoot the waterfall on a tripod and do a longer shutter speed. It will make the water look like silk.

You can start by posting the image directly in the post by copying the IMG source code from a site like Flickr or Photobucket.:mrgreen: I don't mean to be rude, but thats a major annoyance of many people on here. Links can be malicious.

thanks for the advice. for the waterfall i was actually out just taking some pictures of my son playing in the woods and didn't have a tripod with me. I plan on going back to the same spot and trying the shot again with a tripod and i will use a slower speed this time

Nikon d3000

The flowers were taken with my AF-S Micro 60mm f/2.8G ED

and the waterfall was taken with the kit AF-S DX VR Zoom 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G
