Just kind of an interesting read...

Just skimmed it (cuz I'm at work), but I want one! :) A camera that can produce 100 times as much data in the neg as a regular everyday consumer camera? That rocks.
 
9" x 18" negative...WOW...thats's a large format.

Now all we have to do is wait for a 9x18 FULL frame digital sensor... :roll:

There are larger cameras that take up an entire room. Biggest camera was like 8x10feet. NASA is just now discovering large format?

I think that there might be a rennaisance of the film camera in the offing.
Listen to the program on this page (about half way through).
They are talking about the light properties of nano materials and they have developed a material with a negative refractive index. The material acts as if it is teleporting the individual photons! Mind boggling.
