Just Powerful

Climber is weird and awkwardly placed. Especially with obvious flash lighting that contrasts with the rest of the scene lighting. I don't think the "surprise" is a cool effect. I see it as an almost purely distracting/disorienting one.

I see, you don't like the climber, but my friend (the climber) asked me to take some shots while he's at the wall...so thats the product!

I personally like the climber because it shows the scale of the whole scene. However I also enjoy it without him. I love the clouds!

Would it have been possible to get a shot where he wasn't headless? Otherwise I like it. Is it raining in the distance? Glad to see a rope on him. I live in the rockies, you'd be amazed at the number of deaths that happen around here in climbing accidents.

I like it with the climber, but then I'm a ropes and knots kind of person. I do suggest throwing a warming gel in your camera bag for your flash.
