Photos OK to edit
I don't even know what the first bird is, but I am just trying to improve my photos! So tell me what you think.:D

The first bird is an American Robin.

First and foremost, these pictures are WAY TOO DARK. Not sure if you underexposed them to begin with or did that in post. Composition could also be better in all photos, research the "rule of thirds".

$birds 027.webpHere's a quick edit of the first one. I noticed it seems like all your pictures are very dark. If this looks way too bright, you may have your monitor level's brightness adjusted up too much, making them appear OK to you.

I just checked my monitor with two laptops and a desk top, and it seems fine. So I seem to like darker photos!:lmao:

This is how they were shot, I didn't do it in LR.
I thought of the "rule of thirds" when I cropped it, but I liked the fence.:blushing:

Hmm, sounds like you need a monitor calibrator.

... and I do line the lines of wire in the first shot.

What is your ISO setting for these pics? Try bumping your ISO to 800. If that's too bright, try 400. You can also add +EV setting (Exposure compensation) to brighten the shot.

Nope it looks the same on all the PCs, so it's me!:)

#1 & #2 were at 200ISO, and #3 is 100ISO. So I had it kinda low.

I went through LR with them again, so here they are.

Second edit the Guinea looks a lot better. An earlier post of yours had the photos too dark as well.

I also read up on the "Rule of thirds"!:)
