What's new

Just starting out. I would like some opinions on how I can improve my work.

After looking at your photostream...
Learn everything you can about Composition, and try putting it to use. Study visual media and look for how the elements of composition are put to use. Avoid things like putting a person on the right side of the frame, looking out of the frame to the right. Remember to take pictures with your camera sideways too. You know, for subjects that are taller than they are wide. Fill the frame with your subject, more often than not. Watch how you cut limbs off people, if you do, it should make sense why. Cutting limbs at joints isn't the best.

^^ What he said. I mean, the lighting and focus and such are good, but the composition is where it really counts. Study as many pro's as you can, check out the "rule of thirds" (although it's technically only a guideline), and just keep shooting!

Regards,
Jake
