Juvenile GBH - New Lens

Recently picked up a 70-200mm f/4L and am taking a couple weeks to evaluate it before deciding if I should keep it. I'm really impressed so far with the quick focusing and contrast/color and can't justify spending double to get the IS verison as I'll be using it mostly for shooting outdoors or with flash/ample light.

Here's a shot from one of my first days out.

Looks super sharp! I think it is very good. Judging by the environment you probably couldn't get any lower?

Yeah, it was in a channel feeding a marshy area and we were up on a fenced observation area.

Yeah, I've considered this. I rented the 70-300L a couple times but opted for something lighter. I can always get a 1.4 extender if I want, but I'll have to keep in mind it'll restrict me to f/5.6
