K20D IR sim mode

tried out this function for the first time today. it's not quite IR but if you want extra contrast this seems to do the trick.

I think this mode works well for some shots like the last couple, but not in others like the first

I agree I think number one looks kinda strange, but 2 and 4 are great.

yes. it certainly takes a bit of getting used to. depending on the situation the camera prog does all sorts of strange thing that i'm not used to. i agree about two and four. but i also kind of like the effect in one. i may play with the contrast setup on the camera but i like that it can accomplish something that dramatic. it gives me a lot of options to work with. i'll probably just tone it down a touch.
