Is she standing on a reflective surface?

It looks like what is called an "under-chin reflector" was used, giving the highlights on her lower lip, and the lower half of her eyeballs...the under-chin reflector is a staple of classic glamour/beauty/fashion portraiture....I have one I made out of a white 30x30 inch piece of stainless steel, natural on one side, and painted flat white on the other side, with a 1/4 x20 female tripod thread right in the center of it, so that it can be positioned on a tripod and angled precisely, to get just the right reflections in the lower eye and on the face.
