I was watching Zack Arias' new workshop yesterday and he was talking about how the plumbers kids have leaky pipes and the photographer's kids have not photo's, and I realized he was right. So I got a wicker chair, a flash, and my son and went to the back yard.

I'm not a huge fan of the crop, but when I would make him laugh he would immediately grab his feet, causing me to chop a hand or finger off. So I just defaulted to the ol "don't crop where they bend" rule and did what I could.


Edit: Shot with 50 f1.8, and shoot through umbrella about a foot and a half away from his face.
