I feel the b/w version is a little more dramatic, but I still like both versions either way!

#4 in color is by far my favorite! the colors are spot on, and the scenery is gorgeous.

did you use a polarizer for these?

Thanks again everyone. I used a Hoya Pro1D for these. It definitely helps with the water reflections and adds some drama to the sky. Polarizers are definitely a must have IMO. GND Filters are whats next for me .

In the last pic you can see the water rippling in the middle of the lake. It was a matter of seconds later when the whole surface became like that and this shot would would have been lost. It was the last good one from that morning (got no pics from the 'coon fights tho ).
