I almost stepped on him while walking around the forest.

This photo is taken with an iPhone 4 with HDR on


And this is with the D80, just look at the Booookehhhhh.

Looking at the colors of the background in picture 1, I'm thinking that the frog and rock looked more that way then what you ended up with in the 2nd photo. It looks a little over exposed. Also your composition needs some work. Try moving the frog/ rock to the right, and crop some off the top as well.

Don't know how big the rock is but that looks like one huge frog.

Haha, it looks way bigger in the photo.

Here's a comparison. One average sized frog, at least in this climate.
