Kingfisher

[Rebellious]

It has been raining & very gloomy where I live for the past few days & not very conducive to photography. This Kingfisher perched on a post in the adjacent empty plot & I was able to get pics through my window. However, the back ground was a stack of bricks, resulting a a low contrast image. So, photoshopped the background to black. Which one do you guys think looks better? Thanks.

I like the original shot the best.
The photoshopped one looks fake to me.

What a formidable looking bird! He looks like he's ready to split wigs and take names.

I can't seem to get a good photo of one around here. They fly too fast and I never see them just sitting still. Bummer!

I prefer #2. I think the background color is complementary to the bird, even though the black provides a striking contrast.
