Our cat came out of hiding today so took the opportunity to take some shots of her before she ran off into hiding again. I shot these with a manual focus 50mm at 1.8, using a speedlight shot through a diffuser. I forgot how hard it is to focus in low light!!! I was going to start bumping up the iso and opening up the aperture but she ran off.
She moved her head right before I took this shot so i cropped off the top of her head...

way too shallow dof on this one, and focus isn't quite correct, but I captured her in about all the action she does! (minus eating, pooping, and running away from the kid!)
