Kodak Z981 vs. Canon SX20

No flash hot-shoe, no rotating LCD,
Aperture—f/2.8–f/5.0 why not even 8.0? what's the logic here?
26x Optical Zoom Lens (35 mm equivalent: 26–676 mm) is great, 116mm more than SX20.
14mp is too much for small sensor.
Program auto, aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual modes.

So it comes down to Kodak's more MPs and bigger zoom vs. Canon's flash hot-shoe, rotating LCD, f/8.0 and more professional look.

BTW, the Lumix FZ35 has Aperture f/2.8 - 4.4, with manual controls. makes no sense whatsoever.
