Good image - nice capture of a moment, and good technically (tonal range, separation, etc.). My only quibble with it is that the white building in the background is the lightest part of the image and tends to distract. I'd probably crop some of it on top and darken the rest a bit.

This might even work well with a square crop if you take some off the bottom, although I'm excessively fond of square crops, so most people might not agree.

Would appear that it's true what they say; that people do look like their pets. Nice picture.
