I'm painfully aware of the slightly blown out highlight around the sun.

My-oh-my, you must all already be soooooooo good when this tiny spot really bothers you... I don't think I have ever managed to photograph against the sun, now matter how low its angle already was, without getting some sort of hot spot. Or it was already right at the horizon and very orange, but even then..........

Yes La Foto good pickup too as the sun was very low but there were grass fires on the western side of the mountains hence the colouration.

I'm probably my own worst critic.

That sky is gorgeous. Love the clouds with the rim of red and the sweet reflection of the light.
Needs a tiny bit of CCW straightening to the horizon. Other than that I think it roks. :thumbup:
