I took this picture last fall at the lake Neusiedel in Austria.

I feel like this picture would be better if you crop out the pathway at the bottom. It seem to ground the photo. With a crop, it might be a more lonesome feel.

It was my intention to have a foreground.

I agree it needs a foreground, but I would crop enough to get rid of the small stones on the ground, leaving just the top of the stone wall. Wonderful image!

I cut my pictures in the golden section. The horizon is at one third. I wanted to as much sky as possible, therefore, there a bit more of the stone wall. But I will try your suggestion.
