Have you been travelling (sorry, I'm a bit out of the loop here on TPF and no longer know all about everyone)? This photo is so much bluer and greener than your photos usually are, it looks like you have not taken this close to your home.

The lake looks all serene, but seeing all those boats in the foreground I assume you waited for (or happened upon?) a lucky moment when there was no one out there boating?

What a beautiful sight. Well framed, too. And the colours are wonderful.

So: where were you?

I also see your photo a little more blue/green in appearance. I wonder if you pumped up the reds a little bit in photoshop if that would make it pop a little bit more... JMHO

This was taken in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range a little over two years ago. A lucky moment for me.
