How's this one? I tried cropping to get a thirds horizon but I liked it better with more sky. How's this for comp/exposure/interest?

Very nice and not overcooked. Maybe a little too much foreground? Just some noob thoughts as I learn.

-: Very soft foreground and background. I can't see the EXIF, but it looks like your aperture wasn't stopped down nearly enough. When shooting landscapes like these, it's a good idea to either use a technique called hyperfocal distance, or you can take several exposures with varying focus points, and stack them in Photoshop later. That technique is called focus stacking.

Your sky at the top right is really muddy. Try masking one of the original sky exposures back in to help balance that out.

If you have a smartphone, there are several apps that can calculate the hyperfocal distance for you on the fly.

Flyhigh, thanks for the compliment. I tried cropping out foreground but somehow I like the balance better the way it is. I could try messing with different crops.

James, thanks for the detailed c&c. How does the focal point calculator take into account the use of circular polarizer or ND filters? I used a cp filter for these shots.

I love the shade of blue of the sky. Maybe crop the bottom. Nice.
