I do feel the rocks lent a sense of scale to the image.

I'm beginning to become obsessed with this picture.

Meaning I like the lighting, but the cropped version. I was in the middle of eating pizza and typing...LOL!!

Hey Paul/Guys,

I just edited my pic again based on what you did. I started fresh from the raw file and made my adjustments on different layers and then finally flattened the layers into one and saved as a jpeg.

I didn't notice before how orangey and warm my original was.

What do you think now?

Looks good, but I'd increase the contrast a little. Colors look good.

The darks need to be darker.. can do that with levels adjustment.

You seem to really care how this photo turns out so I'd like someone else to give their opinion - but that last edit looks good I think. You could try adding a warming layer, go back and forth a little and see if you like that more. When I'm editing something I like to take my attention away from it and revisit it after a while.. keeps me from getting too caught up in the details.
