I shot this on 7/24. Probably the last time I will shoot it. It's just been so cool to see it every time. I wish I could have captured more of the tail, but there was too much light pollution. You can, however, see the separate ion tail shooting off to the left.

Love it. I tried to get a close up on Friday night but the only long lens I had with me was the 16-80 f/4 and it was just too dark to get focus. That lens doesn't have an infinity point to start with - it just turns and turns and turns... I gave up and went back to the 12mm. I got a cool shot with some sunset and mountains but the comet is basically a smudge.
