Late night shooting with a friend.

Here some shot from a shoot i had with a friend a couples months ago. I wanted to experiement with a different type of lighting. I am finally have time to post process these shots between some client shoot and work.

All 3 shots were shot at F10 at 1/250th.

Large softbox camera left beside model

Bare strobe at my right high up pointing down at model.

I used a large barndoor for some control on that bare flash and a 20 inch grid in front of it and used a large reflector (black side) to block the spill on the background.

Hi! I am by no means a professional, but here is my critique.
1) Highlights the biggest part of her face making it seem big/fat (or maybe she could just turn her head a bit more facing you) also the shadows on midsection are not flattering
2) the angle makes her look like she has no neck
3) I really like this one, her face looks nice. perhaps more lighting on tummy area

second is of my liking...since light on upper portion, contrasts good with lighting on tummy...good model shot.
