Although I'm not super keen on the composition of the picture, I am very interested in the effect. Did you do anything special to produce this? Where exactly is the light source? Visually it looks like it's in the back, but the shadows under the trucks and the lack of shadows on their front seems to say otherwise. Maybe that's why I'm so confused looking at it.

Just another street lamp. It's actually an admittedly over-done 5-exposure HDR processed in CS5- zero noise reduction.
