"Lauderdale By The Sea" is actually the name of the town.

There's a jetty that goes quite a ways into the sea where people fish and hang out. It's opened 24hours, so it was convenient to take some night shots of the city.

Here's one that I kept from Friday night.

I was about 4 miles north of Ft Lauderdale looking south. A storm just left and headed south and just happened to be a little pass the city. The clouds caught the city lights and made the shot a bit more interesting. Otherwise, it wasn't really exciting.

Of course, any night can be spiced up with steamy sh*t.

I can't say the first one interests me that much. It just looks like a day shot with a tacky vignette. Yes i realize it's not, but it doesn't strike me as a "whoahh!" night shot. Tis all.

The second is pretty nifty.

The third is great, solely for the emotion and passion you caught. I think it's a little too blue, and i would tone them down. It was probably the light that gave the strong blue, which isn't a bad thing, it's just a tad too strong for my liking. The fact that it is underexposed doesn't bother me.

Agree with the above except I think the blue adds to the night scene. I love the orchestra of chaos.

The blue is really intense. It actually exceeds my laptop's capability... blown out if you will. So I don't know how it will show up on a better screen and just let it be. I wished I could lower my framing a bit, but there were amplifiers in the way, so I did not want to ruin the shot with stuffs that will distract the composition.
