There is just something about cutting him off I think a nice tight crop would have been better the fully cutting of the elbows or shoulder but that is just my opinion

I'm afraid there is some misguided framing/cropping being applied. There are better places to crop extremities that don't give an amputated feel.

if he were wearing a pair of glasses and were standing, the result would have been outstanding
